There are several ways to learn and develop with the Leeds Institute for Quality Healthcare, from educational programmes and professional development to in-house improvement support.
Our programmes are designed for health and care professionals (public & third sector) in Leeds.
They are free to join. These programmes have been funded by the Clinical Commissioning Groups.
Over a period of 9 months LIQH Fellows develop their skills through interactive workshops alongside CCG colleagues. These eventually lead to group improvement projects, which LIQH continue to support through longitudinal support clinics.
The overall aim of the LIQH Fellowship Programme is to support professionals to lead change and improve care in line with the future ambitions for the NHS.
Learn the ‘Core Concepts’ to quality health in 3 days. You will acquire techniques that you can apply to your day to day work. It’s highly interactive so you’ll learn theory through practice.
The programme introduces our core specialisms: improvement science, co-production and systematic thinking.
The first cohort starts February 2017. Learn the ‘Core Concepts’.
